What I'm doing now
As of October 2026, these are the priorities getting most of my attention:
- Building Bukra full-time — a cross-border transport platform for Africa (bus tickets, flights, parcel shipments) live across six countries.
- Looking for my next role as an AI Engineer: agents, fine-tuning, and eval infrastructure.
- Finished cellar, an AI customer support agent running on my own GPUs that asks before acting and checks its own work. I wrote up what I found building it.
- Iterating on ml-eval-harness, a small framework for comparing local LLMs across exact-match, token-F1, and LLM-as-judge metrics.
What I'm not doing
To make room for the work that matters most, I am intentionally avoiding:
- Starting new projects beyond Bukra and my job search.
- Spreading attention across too many unrelated side projects.
